Vintage 2015 by Jancis Robinson
Domaine Drouhin-Laroze Chambolle-Musigny 2015 // 16,5 +
Cask sample. Really quite dark crimson. Heady nose. Very rich and rewarding. Lots of extraction but it could actually be enjoyed quite early, so opulent is the charge of fruit. And it is reasonably expressive of appellation.

Domaine Drouhin-Laroze Gevrey-Chambertin 2015 // 16
Mid crimson. Strong bitter cherry aroma. Really rather dancing, fresh and approachable. Not sure I'd pick it as a Gevrey blind but it's a pretty wine with notable acidity.

Domaine Drouhin-Laroze Gevrey-Chambertin En Champs 2015 // 16
Firm, slightly cheesy nose. Then well-managed tannins and, like the village wine, a strong streak of acidity. I wonder whether this was picked relatively early? Bitter finish.

Domaine Drouhin-Laroze Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cu Au Closeau 2015 // 17
Cask sample. Rich and sleek on the nose. Masses of jewelly fun. Lots of sweet fruit followed by sinewy vegetation note. Quite complex and more refreshing than the Chambolle.

Domaine Drouhin-Laroze Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cu Clos Prieur 2015 // 16
Rather muddy, indistinct nose at this point. A little on the skinny side. Not much substance on the mid palate. A bit tart and dtringy on the end. Tannins more evident than fruit.

Domaine Drouhin-Laroze Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Craipillot 2015 // 16,5
Notably pale crimson. Lively, elegant nose. Racy and really quite lean. It may take on body but at the moment is not quite showing its pedigree. Good persistence though.

Domaine Drouhin-Laroze Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru 2015 // 17,5
Mid crimson. Firm confident nose. Well-balanced red cherry fruit with fine, well-managed tannins. Really quite a step up from their premiers crus. Ploished and already showing off its ripe fruit. Good balance.

Domaine Drouhin-Laroze Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru 2015 // 17,5
Cask sample. Headily sweet on the nose but not at all heavy on the palate. Real freshness and fun. Rather transparent and less sweet than some of the lesser appellations. Racy. Good expression.

Domaine Drouhin-Laroze Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru 2015 // 16,5+
Masses of chunky tannin rather occlude the fruit at this stage. Pretty severe overall. Grainy finish. Needs lots of time.

Domaine Drouhin-Laroze Bonnes Mares Grand Cru 2015 // 18+
Deep crimson. Not an intense nose but a very promisingly subtle one tha's already showing many a nuance. Great balance and suavity on the palate. Truly grand cru stuff with taffeta texture and a great spread of ripe fruit across the palate. Refined and really rather majestic.

Domaine Drouhin-Laroze Chambertin-Clos de Beze Grand Cru 2015 // 17,5+
Some suggestion of leaf mould on the nose. Sweet broad fruit on the palate though just a little less majestic than the Bonnes Mares tasted alongside. Edgy and slightly tentative at this stage.
