Cask sample. Looks reasonably evolved. Light red-berry aroma. And then almost decadently rich fruit on the palate. Pretty immediate delivery of pleasure, so long as you're not looking for a long-term bet. Quite persistent. GV

Cask sample. Mid to dark crimson. Rich nose with more than a hint of oak. Sweet start then a certain inkiness. Still embryonic with the tannins pretty obvious.

Chambertin-Clos de Beze Grand Cru 2020   17

Cask sample. Intense nose of macerated blackberries. Thck and sweet and utterly flattering. Not for classicists but lots of fun and great appeal for everyone else. Fruit definitely overwhelms tannin in this case.
